Naga Rail Co., Ltd, 261 Ban Viengmai, Luang Prabang, Laos. Telephone: +856 20 7613 5566. Naga Rail is an independent advance-booking service for Laos-China Railway tickets. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Laos-China Railway (LCR) or any government body.
We act as an intermediary: our operators access the LCR booking system on your behalf to secure tickets, which we then deliver to you as a QR e-ticket by email.
Your NR reference (for example, NR2K7F9Q) confirms that we received your booking request. It does not mean the rail operator has accepted the request or that a ticket has been issued. At checkout, PayPal authorizes the all-in amount but does not charge you. We capture payment only when our operator accepts your request, before we begin ticket work. We email you when the operator accepts your request and again when your QR ticket is issued.
Prices are in US dollars (USD). The all-in price you see at checkout includes the LCR ticket fare, our service fee, and payment processing. Your bank or PayPal may apply its own currency-conversion or cross-border charge; Naga Rail does not control or receive that charge.
Prices may vary by date due to peak-period pricing. The price displayed at the time of checkout is the price you pay.
Before Naga Rail accepts your booking request, you may cancel at any time. We automatically release your PayPal authorization; if a payment was already captured, we issue a full refund. If we cannot accept your request, we do the same automatically. After acceptance, refund requests are reviewed manually.
Once we have issued and sent your QR ticket, tickets are non-refundable. Changes cost US$10 per ticket, must be requested more than 48 hours before departure, and depend on availability and railway rules; fare or reissue costs may apply.

We deliver your QR e-ticket once your seat is confirmed, and always before your travel date. For trains departing soon this is usually within a day; for bookings made further ahead, your ticket is issued and sent in the days before departure.
QR e-tickets are delivered by email.
You are responsible for presenting the correct QR code at the gate. Each QR is tied to a specific traveller, train, and date.
You are responsible for ensuring that all passenger details entered at booking — name, passport number, date of birth — are correct and match the passport that will be presented at the station.
The Laos-China Railway checks name and passport at the gate. A mismatch may result in denied boarding. A correction after ticket issuance is not guaranteed and may require the US$10-per-ticket change fee plus railway reissue costs.
Naga Rail is not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes made by the Laos-China Railway. We are not responsible for missed connections, visa issues, or travel costs incurred as a result of any LCR service disruption.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you in connection with any booking shall not exceed the amount you paid for that booking. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Lao PDR. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Vientiane, Laos.
